FoodMood — Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the FoodMood iOS app and related services (the "Service"), operated by Vahan Grigoryan ("we", "us", "our"). By using FoodMood you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

FoodMood helps you log meals, estimate calories and macros from photos, and track water, weight, and nutrition goals. Nutrition estimates — including those produced from photos and notes — are approximate and provided for general informational purposes.

2. Not medical advice

FoodMood is not a medical device and does not provide medical, dietary, or health advice. Calorie and macro figures are estimates and may be inaccurate. Do not rely on FoodMood for medical decisions. Consult a qualified professional before making changes to your diet, exercise, or health routine, especially if you have a medical condition or an eating disorder.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use FoodMood. You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Subscriptions and billing

FoodMood is free to download and offers an optional FoodMood Pro subscription.

  • Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID. Price, billing period, and what premium unlocks are shown in the app before you purchase.
  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Manage or cancel: Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Cancelling stops future renewals; the current period remains active until it ends.
  • Payments are handled by Apple. We do not receive your card details. Refunds are handled by Apple per its policies.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: violating laws; attempting to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service; or uploading content you do not have the right to share. Photos and notes you submit must be your own.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the meals, photos, and notes you submit. You grant us a limited license to process them solely to provide the Service (for example, to estimate nutrition and display your history). See our Privacy Policy for how this data is handled.

7. Account deletion

You can delete your account and associated personal data in the app (Settings → Delete Account). Apple-managed subscriptions are cancelled from your Apple account.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy of nutrition estimates, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any health, dietary, or financial outcomes arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service, and may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, in-app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Armenia, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the courts located in that jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
