Deal Pill — Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Deal Pill iOS app and related services (the "Service"), operated by Vahan Grigoryan ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 18, you may only use the Service with parental or guardian consent. The Service is not available to users under 13.

2. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current.
  • You may not share your account, sell it, or transfer it to another person.

3. Subscriptions

Deal Pill offers a free tier and a paid Deal Pill Premium subscription. The Premium subscription is sold as an auto-renewing in-app purchase through the Apple App Store.

Plans and pricing. Current plans and prices are shown in the app on the paywall screen. Prices may vary by region and are subject to change; any change applies to renewals, not the current period.

Billing and auto-renewal.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • The renewal price is the same as the period you signed up for (unless we notify you of a change in advance).

Managing or canceling. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time:

  • In the iOS Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions → Deal Pill
  • Or in the App Store app → tap your profile picture → Subscriptions

Canceling takes effect at the end of the current paid period — you keep Premium until then.

Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple per the App Store's policies. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Free trials (if offered). If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged during the trial. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged for the first period.

4. License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
  • Use the Service to scrape, harvest, or aggregate data on behalf of others
  • Resell, sublicense, or distribute the Service
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any third party's rights
  • Interfere with the Service's operation, security, or other users' use of it

6. Third-party content

The Service displays product information and prices sourced from third parties, including Amazon (via Keepa). Deal Pill is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon. Product titles, images, and other content are property of their respective owners.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee:

  • The accuracy or timeliness of prices, availability, or other product information
  • That price alerts will always be delivered (notifications depend on Apple's APNs network and your device settings)
  • That the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free

Pricing data may be delayed, stale, or incorrect. You are responsible for verifying prices on the seller's site before purchasing.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Deal Pill or its operators be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. We will give you reasonable notice when feasible.

10. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. For material changes to these Terms, we will update the "Effective date" above and, where required, notify you in-app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Armenia, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the courts located in that jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

12. Apple-specific terms

You acknowledge that:

  • These Terms are between you and Deal Pill, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content.
  • Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
  • In the event of any failure of the Service to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, who will refund the purchase price (where applicable). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the Service.
